Anodyne has four cheat codes accessible from the pause menu at any time.
Enabling Cheat Code Input[]
The cheat code input menu category selected after pressing down 25 times.
Open the pause menu, and press Down 25 times. The menu category cursor should be highlighting an unlabeled 7th slot (below where "???" is or would be). The main area of the menu may not update properly, so you may see the Config menu still visible in the main area while the cheat code input category is selected.
Entering Cheat Codes[]
Select the cheat code input menu category by pressing C. The first time you do this, it will deal 2 damage to you, and if this puts you at 0 or less health, you will die (eventually) before getting to finish inputting your cheat code.
Once the cheat code input menu is active, press Up/Down/Left/Right/C/X to enter U/D/L/R/1/2 onto the screen. Note that C is 1 and X is 2, not the other way around as you might expect. Also note that pressing X will enter a "2" and also take you out of the cheat code input menu. If you want to continue entering a cheat code, a "2" effectively requires pressing X and then C. Also note that even though a 10-character cheat code may be completed with a "2", you need to press C to activate the cheat code input menu before the completed cheat code will register.
Every cheat code is 10 characters long. After entering 10 characters, either the cheat code will work, or if you entered the code wrong, you will receive 2 points of damage.

Konami Code[]
UUDDLRLR21
Refills your health, and unlocks all Newgrounds achievements.
Chaos Code[]
URDLURDLUR
Plays an explosion animation similar to the death of the Seer, and causes all the graphics of the game to be randomized. This makes the game amusingly unplayable.
8-Bit Sprite Code[]
URLDURLD11
Causes Young's sprite to be replaced by the 8-bit version used in the Underground Labyrinth. This will be undone if you load a new area.
Noclip Code[]
LRLR121212
Also known as FUCK_IT_MODE_ON, this cheat code greatly increases Young's speed, disables collision detection with most tiles and objects, speeds up text boxes, and skips boss intro cutscenes. You can effectively "fly" through the game with (almost) nothing stopping you.
Triggering the game-end cutscene where Briar swims off into the sunset will cause the game to softlock. Young does not sink in the water, and so Briar never turns back to save you. Additionally, the pause menu is disabled in that screen, so you will have to manually close the game and relaunch it.
While the Noclip code is active, there are more cheatcodes you can enter in any screen in the game, even mid-cutscene. For cheatcodes that give you items, the chests that contain the items normally still contain a copy of the item. Getting the copy has no effect on your inventory.
Activate New Game+[]
While the Noclip code is active, press T, and you will be able to use the Swap as though you were in New Game+.
Toggle Language[]
While the Noclip code is active, press L to switch between the English and Japanese languages. If the language is set to Korean, then L selects English.
Get 100% Items[]
While the Noclip code is active, press Q to get cards 1-36, card 44, and the Broom, Extend, Widen, and Swap.
There is code to also give you the Jump Shoes, however, it doesn't quite work. You can select the slot in your inventory where the jumps shoes are supposed to go, and even read the description, but the image for the shoes is missing, and you cannot jump. Even worse, this code makes the Jump Shoes unobtainable.
There is code to also increase your max health to 16, but it only takes effect after saving and loading your game.
This code does not give you the Cardboard Box, or any large or small keys.
Get Post-Game Cards[]
While the Noclip code is active, press R to get cards 37-48.
Get Secrets[]
While the Noclip code is active, press S to get all the secrets. Note that this does not enable the "???" menu category, so you will be unable to see any of the secrets unless you get at least 1 of them normally (either before or after getting them with this code).
Set In-Game Time to 2:57:00[]
While the Noclip code is active, press W to set the in-game time 2:57:00 (just under 3 hours). This code probably exists to test the "100% the game under 3 hours" achievement.
Test Getting an Achievement[]
Warning: This is speculation based on analyzing the code, and has not been tested.
While the Noclip code is active, hold 1 and press Space to unlock the achievement "A Tool".
Test Losing an Achievement[]

Test Losing all Achievements[]
